Our freshly farmed dulse seaweed is grown on land using ultra pure Hawaiian deep seawater and is full of vitamins and minerals. It contains every essential amino acid making it a "complete protein". Using fresh dulse in your dishes allows you to pack nutrients in while incorporating flavors of the ocean. Our fresh dulse can also be used for cosmetic purposes and can be added to a variety of formulas. Polysaccharides are one of the main components of Dulse and its molecular structure is very similar to that of hyaluronic acid. Polysaccharides retain water in skin tissues and fill up wrinkles and fine lines acting as a collagen substitute. Dulse is also packed with beta-carotene which hinders the formation of free radicals responsible for the cell ageing process.
